Knowing the components of fitness allows you to create a training plan that is specific to futsal and a training plan that will yield the best results. There are six components of fitness that relate directly to futsal which are;

Coordination is one of the major components of futsal. Being able to control the is a key part of the game and without it a team would be useless in attack and defense because the game demands that the players skillfully move the ball around the court and shoot it into the goal which requires considerable amounts of coordination.

Muscular strength is needed in futsal for shooting and sprinting to the ball.
Muscular Endurance
Muscular endurance is needed to maintain the high intensity throughout the forty minutes of the game.
Speed
Because futsal is a fast high intensity sport the speed is needed for accelerating to get to the ball or to catch a defender.
Flexibility
Because futsal players sprint alot they have to be flexible in their legs so they don't tear any muscles while working at maximal intensity.
Agility
Agility is needed so the player can dodge and weave through the other team while using coordination with his/her feet to keep the ball with them.
