Training sessions for week one, three and four where at the correct intensity’s for the competitive macro cycle. The week two session had the right content and used the correct principles of training but the drills just has to be tweaked to allow for the players to do the drills at a higher intensity so all the training session intensities form a wave like pattern. The drills in each session followed the principles of training of specificity, progressive overload and variety. The drills in each training session worked the correct components of fitness that are relevant to futsal which are coordination, speed, muscular strength, agility, muscular endurance and flexibility (Components of fitness, 2013).
