Week 2 Session Evaluation
The week two training session was specific to the game of futsal being incorporating the components of fitness that are relevant to futsal. Specificity was incorporated in the passing and shooting with cones drill by instead of just passing the ball back and forth the players had to move and pass at the same time like in a game situation. This is also progressive overload from the previous session by adding the running component to the passing drills that were present in the previous session. This training session however didn’t reflect the correct intensities for the week two of the competitive macrocycle. The intensity should have been slightly higher than the week one training session to create the wave like graph shown in the diagram to the right.
