Game
The game of futsal played after the drills is used to reinforce the skills practiced and puts those skills in game situation that is specific to futsal. Due to the skill the player brought over from the passing drill and moving into space drill which made the game fast flowing increasing the intensity the athletes were playing at which is the correct intensity for week three of the competitive macrocycle.
Evaluation of training session
The week 3 training session conformed to the macrocyle by working the athletes at high intensity for a low duration by using interval training. The session followed the principles of training by working harder then the previous session (progressive overloading), using a drill for the warm up instead of doing laps of the court (variety) and working skills and components of fitness that are specific to futsal like speed, coordination and agility.
